Introducing T.N.B.C

I don't think there could be a more appropriate time for the inaugural post from T.N.B.C. than this Easter weekend... Easter symbolizes the sacrifice of ONE for the salvation of others... Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected much in the same way countless thousands of brave Americans have made the ultimate sacrifice so this great country would never find itself needing to be resurrected, by remaining the country where all men are created equal, where they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights... That among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness...

Here's a little history of how and why T.N.B.C. started and where we intend to go... We were all members of a local 9/12 group who started coming to our house for a study group on "The 5000 Year Leap"... When we completed the course, it became apparent that we wanted to continue meeting and so we decided to study another book... The unanimous choice was Glenn Beck's "Broke"... We were now officially a "Book Club" who met at our house on Thursday nights, hence the moniker "Thursday Night Book Club", soon becoming T.N.B.C... The 9/12 group was and still is a great organization that is doing a marvelous (can't wait for Barack to make fun of my using that word) job of getting U.S. constitutions in the classrooms and teaching our children about our founding fathers... The only problem is that middle school students can't vote... When members of T.N.B.C. tried to get the group to diversify some of its' resources on other objectives, it became apparent that this was not their intention... T.N.B.C. decided it was time to venture off on our own and using our given initials we came up with "There's No Better Country"... One of our members is an incredibly talented artist and designed and created our logo... We want to spread this idea as far and wide as possible without making it an organization bound by overbearing rules and regulations... We intend to be political and refuse to compromise our abilities to back political candidates and their endeavors by becoming a 5013c tax exempt group... (a concept Media Matters can't seem to comprehend)

The last thing I want to do on our first post is to start to bore, so after giving you a brief explanation of who we are, here's a little of what we hope to be up to...

We are a small group that is hoping to grow... We see this great country being destroyed and vow to stop the destruction and reverse the effects that 100 years of Progressives have had on the American way of life... Their insidious attempt to destroy God in our lives, the family, the free market system, while infiltrating our schools and universities to indoctrinate our children... Though we're not here for the sole purpose of keeping Barack Obama from having a second term, it is at this time our highest priority... There is plenty of work to be done once this is accomplished, but nothing much will be relevant should this Marxist / Socialist have another four years to "Fundamentally Transform America"...
